TRANSFORMING LIVES, ONE WOMAN AT A TIME…

Donna P. Sarhaan, Ph.D.

Our mission is to encourage the educational pursuits of minority women by providing scholarships and resources for postsecondary education to defray the costs associated with tuition and fees.  Scholarship recipients are also assigned mentors based on their career goals and interests. Mentors provide insight, networking opportunities, and internships specific to the scholar’s field of study.

Our Mission

They cannot stop me. I will get my education if it is in the home, school, or any place.
— Malala Yousafzai

The Donna P. McCullum Foundation for Educational Excellence was founded in 2019 by Donna P. Sarhaan to provide resources to minority women entering their first year of college. Scholarships help to defray some of the costs associated with tuition, books, and associated fees. In addition to scholarships, recipients are assigned a mentor for one year to assist them in navigating their first year of college. Mentors provide insight, networking opportunities, and internships specific to the scholars field of study.
